Infrastructure Development

The Karmiel Economic Corporation is responsible for the continued development of infrastructure at the Karmiel Industry Park eastward. At the same time, the Corporation is planning the development of the Wadi Park in the heart of the Industry Park.
The Corporation is conducting the development process using budget allocations provided by the Ministry of Economy, as well as revenues from selling land plots.
Since 2006, the Park has seen investments in the amount of NIS 7 million directed toward infrastructure works, development of roads and sidewalks, gardening and lighting. The Corporation is currently developing roads, streets, and plots until the Park is fully developed.

The Wadi Park

The Wadi Park is located at the heart of the Karmiel Industrial Zone and covers an area of over 10 acres.
It encompasses a broad ravine crossing the industrial zone from east to west.
The park construction plan includes six buildings intended for high tech industries, light industry and offices, each offering 3,000 square meters of space.
Landscaping for the park shall be harmonized with the natural landscape: at its upper side, next to the Acre-Safed road, landscaping is planned to mirror that of the other side of the road with olive trees and lawn.
At its lower side, a broad strip of landscaped areas and lawn is planned.
In order to solve the water channeling problem in the river, a drain pipe will be placed along the stream, collecting rain water and conducting it to an artificial water channel along the eastern borderline of the Park.
Wadi Park development is currently at the landscaping and infrastructure planning phase and will last several years.
